Our Plan

 

Our dream for over a decade has been to build a rescue center for abused women and orphaned children in Kenya, East Africa.

Now that dream is becoming a reality.

Here is an outline of our overall Development Plan and where we are currently in our efforts:

  • In 2018, a 5-acre plot of land was purchased at the foot of Mt. Kilamanjaro in Kenya to serve as our first Center.

  • We are currently raising funds for the first Phase of development at the Center. This will include installation of a water well to provide clean, safe water and a solar system to provide electricity to the center.

  • Once solar and water are in place, we will begin development of an irrigation system to grow food & begin construction of the Center buildings. This is a huge undertaking including permits, design work, septic systems, electrical, and so much more.

  • At this stage, we will be ready to receive our first families & individuals. Now the real work begins. We will provide emotional support and job skills training in addition to meeting the physical needs of those coming to the center.

  • Once our initial location is up & running, we hope to develop additional centers in other areas of Kenya.

We are currently in Phase 2 of Development and have raised 70% of the funds needed to begin construction of the water and solar systems. Can you help?
